  • The Youth Transition Grant involved working in the Developmental Services program with high school aged youth who were interested in employment during or after graduation.
  • As one of the few people on this grant, I spearheaded the recruitment, development, and delivery of a comprehensive five-part employment curriculum. I established business partnerships and employment opportunities, offered on-the-job support, supported resume and cover letter development, conducted grant-related meetings and training sessions, and ensured compliance with benchmarks and guidelines.
  • I was able to create connections with more than 15 local businesses which led to employment for 9 out of the 13 students I worked with.
