  • Project Name: MICHIGAN STUDENT ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE LAB
  • Joined a “Learning Track” where the basics of reinforcement learning through artificial intelligence are taught.
  • Opportunity to work with and listen to experts in the field of AI in monthly AI symposiums.
  • Currently working on and developing a project where a digital dog will learn how to retrieve an object thrown by the user of the program and return it to the user through reinforcement learning

  • Course: ENGR 100-950 (Electronics for Atmospheric & Space Measurements)
  • Project Name: SENSOR PAYLOAD LAUNCH INTO ATMOSPHERE
  • Collaborative project involving a 4-5 person team to create a sensor board and payload, launching them into the atmosphere for data collection and mapping to answer a scientific question.
  • Coded a general system of vastly different atmospheric sensors to take and report data using the C programming language.
  • Data analytics - parsed through data in python and created graphs to support a conclusion made based on groups scientific question.
  • In-depth experiences in soldering, electrical wiring, sensor coding, data collection, and collaborating with teams in a work environment

  • Project Name: WOLVERINE SPORTS ANALYTICS
  • Developed an algorithm that could predict the outcome of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament based on the 2022-2023 regular season data as well as the past seventeen tournaments dating back to 2005.
  • Webscraped utilizing the BeautifulSoup library and gathered data from a collection of basketball stat sources.
  • Used these metrics to scale teams by certain statistics, from simple wins and losses to efficiency margins
  • Standardized these statistics in a MySQL database, and then utilizing TensorFlow and a variety of other Python libraries, created an algorithm that gave an absolute ranking of all the teams in the tournament field
