I am currently:

• Conducting assessments to identify the "Big Nine" core areas of Speech Language Pathology in pediatric patients.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to support communication goals.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive treatment plans for patients with complex communication disorders and enhance patient care strategies and outcomes.
• Monitoring progress of patients, adjusting therapy techniques, and referring to other disciplines as needed for optimal results.
• Educating families on therapeutic techniques to reinforce skills at home and improve outcomes.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure effective interventions and maintain high standards of care.
• Customizing therapeutic interventions for culturally diverse populations to ensure sensitivity to individual values and beliefs while delivering effective care.
• Collaborating with a fellow SLP to run Preschool Language Group at Therapy Services Westlake
• Collaborating with a fellow SLP to provide Evidence Based Practice presentations to SLPs across Therapy Services on a quarterly basis
• Establishing a Myofunctional Therapy Team in 2026 to provide education and guidance to fellow SLPs interested in this treatment modality and provide myofunctional therapy to families seeking it
• Until late 2025, I was a member of the "CHI Engagement Council" (formerly "Diversity Council") that worked to cultivate an environment of connectedness, acceptance, respect, and value to caregivers across CCCHR

Entrusted with all of the above job responsibilities in addition to:

• Serving as the primary clinical representative of the practice location.
• Mentoring student therapists, clinical fellows, and new hires to foster professional growth and skill development.
• Providing mentorship and clinical consultation to colleagues regarding assessment and treatment planning.
