• Observed hand-off reports between overnight shift and day shift nurses

 • Reviewed lab work and imaging studies for three newborns in the NICU 

• Assisted with vital signs and patient care

 • Helped with parent teaching regarding care for the infants as new information regarding their health was discovered

 • Bottle fed infants who required special pacing. Assisted with recovery and monitoring after hypoxic events.
