-Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records for aviation maintenance and repair parts (Class IX), tracking receipt, storage, and distribution of materiel.
-Material Handling: Oversee unloading, unpacking, inspecting, counting, segregating, palletizing, and storing incoming supplies and equipment.
-Facility Storage Management: Ensure proper storage conditions, care of supplies in storage (COSIS), and handling of hazardous materials.
-Requisition Processing: Manage and process requisitions for aviation parts and supplies, ensuring timely availability.
-Procurement Oversight: Coordinate procurement of Class IX aviation maintenance repair parts, following Federal Acquisition Regulations and Government Purchase Card procedures.
-Fiscal & Acquisition Control: Maintain accountability of the unit’s property book, conduct cyclic and annual sensitive items inventories, and manage acquisition procedures.
-Accounting & Reporting: Prepare and maintain inventory, materiel control, accounting, and supply reports; operate the Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-Army) for automated logistics tracking.
