The gap in employment after this position was due to health issues. Then, my mother developed lung cancer and my family supported me as I was her full time caregiver until she passed away last September.

The principal had to transfer the newest hired teacher to Skelly in October because they had many more students enrolled there.

In the employment gap years from Jones to Grimes, I had some health issues, as did my mother, and was on FMLA. When I got better, I began volunteering at the DVIS and Family Safety Center downtown in the childrens room and also was an Advocate for clients needing to fill our emergency protective orders, so I worked with the attorneys there, police, and counselors.

Creation of resident

• Developed and delivered engaging training sessions on first aid and CPR techniques.
• Facilitated hands-on skill practice to enhance participant confidence and competence.
• Evaluated trainee performance through assessments to ensure knowledge retention.
• Collaborated with team members to improve instructional materials and training resources.
