  • Worked under the direction of surgical oncologist and faculty mentors for 24 months while engaging in a formal health disparity and outcomes research track curriculum.
  • 24-months of protected research training under the direction of T32 faculty mentors while engaging in formal core curriculum focused on health disparity and outcomes through the Sylvester Cancer Center and the University of Miami.
  • Upheld multiple university and regulatory requirements for documentation of findings including IRB renewal and protocol generation.
  • Maintained accurate records of research databases for several ongoing as well as for the Central Pancreas Consortium and provided statistical analysis of data results.
  • Led weekly lab meetings to discuss ongoing projects, fostering a collaborative environment among team members that encouraged knowledge-sharing opportunities and project generation.
  • Collaborated with seven other high-volume academic surgical centers in formation of the Central Pancreatic Consortium to accomplish pancreatic cancer clinical outcomes research goals.

  • Performed quantification of embryonic phenotypes.
