As a mentor for the Elevate Research program at Radford University, I was tasked with researching the trends #TradWife (Traditional Wife) and #SAHG (Stay-at-home Girlfriend) to further analyze the effect social media has on gender roles in society. I worked closely with my professor, and we read and analyzed tweets from X/Twitter. I also made a poster of our findings and presented it at the Winter Card, held by Radford University. I was also tasked with mentoring other students in a communication class I had previously taken.
