Full time student in the Medical Laboratory Science program.

Performed stat blood tests on nova and sysmex machines and took critical results to main lab for confirmatory testing. Performed urinalysis and pregnancy testing, answer phone calls from doctors and nurses. Represent the lab while working the in emergency room. Run QC and document it each shift. Trouble shoot any problems with machines and do maintenance when needed

Performed phlebotomy in every part of the hospital from ICU to the emergency room. Trained new phlebotomy staff and worked in processing in main lab as needed. Answered the phones and collected drug screens as needed.

• Collected blood samples using vacutainer tubes, tourniquets, syringes, butterfly needles, and straight needles

• Picked up medical specimens from labs and hospitals in Conway and Little Rock
• Processed specimens and got them ready to ship once back at Little Rock hub

Worked as utility phlebotomist , dispatcher for mobile phlebotomy and stat mobile phlebotomist.
