Amelia Hamlin

My name is Amelia Hamlin and I am a creative and passionate last-semester senior college student with a major in Biology and a minor in Communication Design. The path of my academic pursuits has been a deliberate blend of science and visual communication, aiming to bridge the gap between disciplines and achieve a future in Medical Visualization. With a background rooted in both the medical field and artistry, my unique perspective fuels my ambition to excel in the field of medical illustration. Through coursework and experience outside the classroom, I am honing my skills in visual storytelling and graphic representation, while leveraging my background in communication design. I am adept at conveying complex concepts with clarity and artistic flair, and aiming to captivate viewers aesthetically while bringing a deeper understanding of the subject matter. As I purse my professional journey, I am excited about the opportunity to apply my academic training at a new level through an experiential summer internship or job in graphic design while working towards graduate school. I look forward to immersing herself in a dynamic environment, collaborating with various seasoned graphic designers, and art directors. My detail-oriented nature, precision, and commitment to follow-through make me well-suited to assist various members of a design team in creating marketing pieces. With a palette of science and design at my disposal, I am eager to start a journey where I contributes to the creation of visuals that educate and inspire. My ultimate goal is to make meaningful contributions, all the while gaining valuable experience.
