I am an Ed.S. candidate in the Tufts University School Psychology Program. My goals for internship year include implementing current social-emotional intervention research into the counseling setting and fostering positive student-family relationships, with a special interest in immigrant families and newcomer students. My pre-practicum and practicum experience at Excel Academy Charter Schools (grades 5-12) in East Boston, MA has helped me to hone skills in school-wide and counseling practice, make decisions rooted in data, and consider the socio-cultural factors of a child and their wider communities.
