• Monitor airfield conditions, including runways, taxiways, aprons, lighting, FOD, wildlife activity, and pavement integrity, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

My job as a Lead Aircraft Tow Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of aircraft on the ground using specialized towing equipment such as tugs and tow bars. These professionals maneuver aircraft between gates, maintenance facilities, ramps, and hangars, ensuring adherence to strict safety protocols. Working in close coordination with ground control, marshallers, and flight crews, tow operators must execute precise positioning of aircraft, often within tight spaces and under variable weather conditions. A strong understanding of airport layout, aircraft specifications, and communication procedures is essential for the role.

I am also a Certified Brake Rider which is a trained aviation maintenance personnel responsible for operating the aircraft's wheel brakes during ground movement operations, such as towing, repositioning, or pushbacks. My role is critical in ensuring the controlled movement of the aircraft and preventing unintentional rolling or collisions.

Brake Operation: Apply and release aircraft brakes as directed during towing or repositioning to prevent uncontrolled movement.

Safety Coordination: Ensure gates, ramps, and pads are properly configured and clear of obstructions before any aircraft movement begins.

Communication: Maintain continuous and clear communication with the tow team, ground crew, and sometimes air traffic control (ATC).

My job as a Fleet Agent Lead is responsible for loading and unloading cargo or baggage, operating ground support equipment, conducting routine safety checks.
