Summary
Seeing my entire future in a bird's view, I encountered the lovely foreshadow of a life I will attain. A woman with a stethoscope, watching over vitals, confronting the unconscious person in a time of vulnerability; she's an Anesthesiologist. The mother of baby birds, but also the wind that carries them through the sky of uncertainty for their outcome but always being optimistic it'll land on the ground of a healthy life. I say this because my high school didn't give me much opportunities to start my journey in the medical field early. Seeing many people my age obtain certifications through their high school lead me to grow very jealous and upset, but soon i needed to realized that if i too wanted to reach the level of my career I NEED to go for it. These job taught me many things but the one this i had to learn through life experience was optimism hoping for the best and not the worse. My hopes for my future is beyond just having a career but to also carry a legacy for other first generation Sierra Leonean Americans to look up to, as for im optimistic I'll become another one of my country‘s success story.

- A job dedicated to food and gas, sheetz, weirdly enough, taught me something other jobs didn't as much, which is accuracy.
- Sheetz helped me understand the importance of everything being correct, from the step-by-step guiding on how to assemble an item in order, to making sure I temp all meats no matter the time so no item get handed out undercook or overcooked.
- I learned to understand the importance of every one following the guidelines and how important it is that we as workers, are all policy-driven.

- A job filled with constant chattering, I learned that talking isn't just the moving our mouth to utter words, but to also understand and support customer to there satisfactions.
- Customer service is a skill everyone should master, which this job has helped me do so!
- Learning how to communicate helped me get over social anxiety and learn that we are all the same. No matter the time or place.
- Since Walgreens is one of the biggest convenient pharmacies, I've learned a lot about being compassionate with others, helping them pick out products provided by the pharmacist, and gaining general knowledge about a lot of OTC drugs.
