I am an experienced and dedicated Criminal Investigator with a strong foundation in law enforcement, intelligence, and cyber security. My goal is to further my career in federal criminal investigations, where I can apply my knowledge, professional training, and a track record of success in pursuing complex cases and upholding justice.
I currently serve as a Criminal Investigator (1811) with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), bringing over five years of specialized experience at the GS-13 level. In this role, I have led investigations into both civil and criminal violations of federal wildlife laws, including the Lacey Act, Endangered Species Act, and Marine Mammal Protection Act. My duties have included conducting both covert and overt operations, collaborating with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, working closely with Assistant U.S. Attorneys, executing search warrants, and building strong interagency partnerships.
My professional development includes completion of the Wildlife Inspector Basic Course, the Criminal Investigator Training Program (CITP), and the FWS Special Agent Basic Training Program. These programs have equipped me with deep knowledge of Title 50 CFR and the broader legal and procedural framework of federal wildlife enforcement.
Prior to my current role, I served honorably in the U.S. Coast Guard, where I gained foundational law enforcement training and pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Media, which enabled me to serve as a Public Affairs Specialist. I later enhanced my qualifications by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Cyber Security and obtaining a U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Marine Master Captain license.
Throughout my career, I have demonstrated strong communication skills, adaptability, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement. My background spans project management, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration, all of which reinforce my dedication to advancing mission success through both tactical fieldwork and strategic planning. These qualities have shaped a work ethic rooted in diligence, thoughtfulness, and diplomacy—essential for navigating and resolving complex law enforcement challenges effectively.
I would welcome the opportunity to speak in further details with specific examples about how my experience, training, and passion can add value to your team and program.
