Ammar Kadhem

My name is Ammar Kadhem and I am 34 years old and have been in U.S. since August of 2008 (I am a USA citizen). I currently enrolled in PSU for mechanical Engineering. I read and write fluently in my native language of Arabic, and English. I am a very hardworking and dependable person with an outgoing personality who is self-motivated with versatile abilities. I have a varied work history, having worked as a translator for Arabic, English, and two years’ experience working with several different non-profit peace-oriented organizations (Women's Federation for World Peace, Universal Peace Federation for World Peace, Care, UNHCR) and, I have a Bachelor degree in High school physical education teacher- Baghdad - Iraq – University of Baghdad. During my stints with those non-profits, I developed organizational skills while working as an assistant director. Also, I have a certificate in Jordan for fixing computers and cell phones. I also have experience with Microsoft office, mainly Word and Excel. I also worked as a manager at the (Four season Auto repair) in Vancouver, WA for 3 years.
