Key responsibilities:

• Analyze current and past financial data to draw decisions and new processes for companies a 2M USD budget.
• Capacity building and training over 50 employees/contractors on occupational safety, NCDs prevention, and developing a manual of health policies and safety procedures for one of my clients.
• Prepare reports on the above information and communicate the insights to stakeholders.
• Providing technical expertise as an SME in global health particularly: governance of health systems, project management and supply chain challenges.
• Collaboration with the international working group (IWG MENA region) on recruiting talents and training young public health professionals living in disadvantaged settings like refugee camps and conflict zones.

Key responsibilities:

• The Department of State funds the project SAHA with 5M USD (Supporting Anti-corruption in Healthcare Administration to strengthen the health system in Tunisia). The project covered areas of digitizing the healthcare system and pharmaceutical supply chain, Capacity-building of MoH personnel via building an e-learning platform and reforming the legal and regulatory public health system
• I worked overseas, in Tunisia precisely, for a year, contributing to proposal adjustment and managing different aspects of the project. I also organized seven workshops and ten online events with a large number of stakeholders.
• Contributed to different technical aspects of the project as a subject matter expert in healthcare governance, anti-corruption measures, and conducting research to support the implementation and evaluation of the program.
• Responsible for the day-to-day follow-up with sub-grantees, government officials, and the project team to ensure quality and time alignment of deliverables.
• I oversaw budget allocation, following budget variances to implement the scope of the program.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate with a team of epidemiologists, contact tracers, and expert professionals to control the Covid-19 outbreak and research trends and new symptoms.
• Management of the database created by the CDC. Duties included data collection, data analysis, and drawing conclusions to share trends with VDH.
• Established open and professional relationships with team members to achieve quick resolutions for various issues.
• Supervising and mentoring contact tracers.
• I also worked on helping my overcome the challenges and emotional stress of remote work and an emerging pandemic. This effort led to establishing a mental health wellness program for my team and hiring a social worker to follow up with patients in the area we cover.

Key responsibilities:

• The medical consultation provider for refugees in the bordering area between Tunisia and Libya handling a wide range of non-communicable diseases and maternal and newborn health including reproductive health promotion.
• Engaging in several initiatives to improve access to healthcare and reach the local population especially regarding type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. These efforts led to allowing the local population of the south of Tunisia to have access to our clinic free of charge and providing essential medications.
• Close collaboration with the Tunisian Ministry of Health, UNHCR, ICRC, and other agencies to facilitate response plans. Representing the organization in external events and meetings with various stakeholders.
• Follow up on the work of subcontractors and partners while collaborating with the accountant to manage budget, resource allocation, and forecast spending.
• Generating assessments and activities reports for the coordination office in Tunis and Brussels, identifying potential risks, and suggesting strategic field plans for mitigation.
• Planned and performed the training of over 700 local and international volunteers on four topics related to humanitarian relief.

• Reviewed literature and technical reports to uncover key policy information.
• Focused on analysis of the Tunisian health system and making recommendation to reinforce access for disadvantaged groups to health coverage and better services by benchmarking with other LMI countries with success stories in this context.
• Working on the reduction of health inequities and reducing the burden of non communicable diseases.
• Co-writer of most of the reports during my period of work. these reports were included in the ministry of health reform plans.
• I was Chosen to represent the association in the annual conference and workshop of the Prevent Cancer Foundation in Arlington Virginia in April 2016.

I collaborated with prestigious regional and international experts on a meta-analysis funded by WHO. The study covered the cost-effectiveness of non-communicable diseases prevention campaigns in the MENA region .
