Currently, I am working for Deseret Industries while attending the Automation technology course at Bridgerland Technical College. Once finished I plan to further my education by taking the Controls Engineering Technology course. From September 2019 to January 2022 I drove for swift transportation. This involved a daily pre-trip inspection, maneuvering the tractor and single trailer over highways and in city streets. On August 20th, 2014 I completed my training at Bridgerland Applied Technology College in the field of Information Technology. Which included the following courses A+ Hardware and Software, Linux Server Admin, Net Working Technology, Network Routing, and Switching, (Operating Essential 1 basic fundamentals of client-side operating systems Mac OS X ), Security Essential, and Windows Server Admin. While working for the BATC service desk I checked in the customers' PC, iPhones, and other technological devices. Along with diagnosing and fixing the devices. Which involved cleaning the interior of any dust, removal of anti-malware defragmenting the hard drive, and replacing the thermal paste. This also included removing the hard drive when necessary to speed up the scanning process by using an external docking station. One of my cleaning jobs involved the removal of the motherboard to access the entire system case. I also had the privilege of installing the Windows operating system. P.S. Please note. The courses mentioned above are meant to suggest my exposure to them. Outside of school, I have not practiced the majority of them in a work-based environment. Linux has been my primary focus with some light networking (I would say upper beginner to lower intermediate.) As for the active directory, I know I can reset a user's password which is basic. But any other task in Active Directory would require a refresher course before I would be comfortable performing them. I am comfortable working within the Windows 11 and 10 environments, but my exposure is on a personal level. I do not have any professional experience maintaining them. I have built and installed the OS on my personal Windows 10 and 11 machines.
