Summary

My 15 years as a registered sleep technologist has honed my ability to communicate with physicians, patients, and co-workers in a comfortable, effective, compassionate, and “down to earth” manner. I make it a priority to always take complete ownership of my patients with the goal of making their experience a good one. I am excellent at easing patients’ nerves and fears by making sure they are fully informed about every step of the sleep study process and educated about a wide range of sleep disorders and treatment. I have always relished taking questions from patients and teaching and mentoring students and new employees. I am often put in charge of making executive decisions, dealing with sales reps, and resolving patient issues or complaints when management is not available. Critical thinking, being persistent, experience, and understanding how to use the process of elimination to troubleshoot equipment and computer issues has made me the person my coworkers rely on for assistance.
