  • Material management oversight responsibility working directly with Supply Chain Management, Field Services, Finance, and Engineering. Responsibilities included utilizing SAP and program specific BSI (Base Support Installation) accountability for shipping/receiving material items, including responsibility for associated computer data entry, and electronic scanning and filing. Specifically, both SAP and BSI utilized to process and control movement of inventory and contributed to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects. Responsibilities included:
  • Managing Due-In’s and Due-Out’s for material requirements in the field or in the SIL (System Integration Laboratory).
  • Tracking & management oversight of all repairs and data with required delivery dates.
  • Working directly with procurement, Engineering and QA (Quality Assurance) as appropriate to ensure vendor requirements were met for repairs IAW (in accordance with) specific program requirements.
  • Working directly with the United States Government Customer submitting Special Program Requirements (SPRs) for in-house planning/repairs and generating Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) for vendor repairs.
  • Addressing repair concerns for materials approaching end of life or obsolescence with the customer and program office.
  • Communicating daily with the engineering team for status updates on repairs and quantities of material in stock.
  • Generating weekly reports for internal audit purposes with customer owned material.
  • Attending weekly staff meetings to ensure requirements are being met and outstanding issues are resolved.

PROJECT ASSOCIATE I

  • Program Manager with assigned Repair Manager responsibilities supporting a proprietary foreign military sales (FMS) program for the Republic of South Korea. Based on my performance, I was soon promoted and awarded with increased roles and broader Program Management responsibilities.
  • Program Management Responsibilities included:
  • Managing all the repairs on the program.
  • Tracking all repairs and data in the Access database system designed for this FMS program.
  • Working directly with procurement and vendors in obtaining repair quotes, generating shipping invoices and setting up associated Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Working directly with the United States Government AFMC (Air Force Material Command) Logistics Lead, submitting Return Material Authorizations to the end user in Korea for the return of failed components with oversight of export & import material processing & accountability.
  • Facilitating relationships with vendor contacts to maintain open communication on status of repairs.
  • Addressing repairs concerns and material approaching end of life or obsolescence.
  • Communicating daily with the engineering team for status updates on repairs and components that have failed in the SIL (System Integration Laboratory) or installed on aircraft.
  • Producing weekly/monthly actuals/commitment reports for oversight of cost and delivery date forecasts.
  • Submitting monthly Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliveries to the United States Government by the requirements on the contract for repairs and obsolescence.
  • Attending annual Program Management Reviews (PMRs) with the United States Government and The Republic of Korea.
  • Supporting a variety of related Marketing & Business pursuits & estimate costing for potential mission systems upgrades for aircraft & various ground sites.

  • Managed calendars for the Program Manager.
  • Arranged travel for the program office personnel and engineering.
