Amy is an enthusiastic therapist eager to contribute to team success through hard work, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. She is motivated to learn, grow and excel as a behavior specialist and looking forward to continuing to hone her skills while working with a great team and clinical leadership.
In addition to playing for countless weddings and private events, Amy loves teaching private music lessons. She has had students from the age of six to sixty-five, and from many different cultural backgrounds.
After finishing college, Amy accepting a teaching position and worked with two orchestras and three choirs with students in grade six through twelve. She prepared them for their school concerts and All-State competitions, where the high school choir and orchestra both achieved top honors.
Amy has experienced deep connections with people of various cultural backgrounds and life experiences She has traveled to Indonesia, Honduras, Canada, Ukraine, Germany, France, Austria, and Ireland She has an insatiable fascination for different cultures and the way life is both similar and different across the globe Amy has been told by counselees, fellow students, and professors that she has innate empathy and exemplary teaching skills Her vision is to create a world that fosters joy and growth by humbly and creatively leading others to fully explore their internal and external gifting, enjoying lives of value and congruence
Amy has skills in managing people and helping them to gain greater confidence and expertise in utilizing their skills Most recently, this has been evident in her music coordinator role, as she helps train leaders in addition to leading music teams
