• License to administer local anesthesia as needed for SRP and dental procedures. Use of Oraqix anesthetic if indicted for patient comfort.
• Use of ultrasonic scaling and KAVO prophyjet to efficiently and effectively remove plaque and calculus buildup from teeth surfaces.
• Addressing impact of xerostomia and diet to oral health by recommending fluoride varnish or prescription fluoride toothpaste to protect teeth from decay or sensitivity issues.
• Educate importance of oral hygiene and demonstrate techniques for optimal dental health and prevention of future issues.
