Recipient of $5,000 stipend for arts and humanities research Project Heritage Quilt, a two-semester immersion project focused on preservation of appalachian cultural and artisan heritage. Oral and written storytelling, interviews, website development; a multi-county project, 13' x 10' hand-quilted artifact, and 60 handwritten reflections fostering interpersonal dialogue relevant to the Appalachian community.
