  • Be on-site at their facility and working directly with youth and staff a minimum of 40 hours
  • Meet with staff at the end of every shift to discuss the events of the day and evaluate each resident’s progress and challenges
  • Coordinate and oversee the facility’s day to day services; serving and supporting all Cedar Creek residents
  • Responsible for communicating with, and updating Cedar Creek staff on clients, change of DCYF team members, trainings, meetings and appointments, etc
  • Review all incident reports. At nightly meeting program manager will ensure that all incidents have been reported in incident reports within 48 hours
  • Meet with Cedar Creek case manager weekly.
  • Supervise house managers and direct care staff
  • Monitor and implement staff orientation, development and training
  • Ensure each resident’s ISTP/IBMP and care plans are executed and completed.
  • ·Communicate with and update parents/guardian and DCYF team support members for each client in reference to scheduled service appointments, court authorizations
  • Comply with and maintain all professional accreditation requirements that apply to the agency
  • Be available by telephone when on call, 24/7, seven days a week. When the program manager is not available, a house manager or administrator is assigned to cover calls and emergencies.
  • Work with representatives of other agencies
  • Schedule and direct all daily, monthly and quarterly meetings
  • Complete staff competencies and reviews bi-annually
  • Supervise all administrators to ensure that Joint Commission standards of performance are being met
  • Supervise daily schedule and ensure required ratio is in place
  • Plan and implement school and summer schedules
  • Attend weekly meetings with Cedar Creek clinicians to discuss each resident’s needs and progress
  • Attend weekly meetings with Cedar Creek administrators
  • Update all policies and procedures, as necessary
  • Coordinate and report to each youth’s team regarding all individual care, progress and services provided (CFT)
  • Attend all school meetings associated with each youth’s care and services
  • Discipline and report staff when performance issues are discovered.
