  • Employee Engagement Survey, Capitalizing on the company talent brand – Be here. Be great. – developed a communication plan to support an enterprise-wide employee engagement survey with the tagline – Be here. Be great. Be heard. Collaborated with internal graphic designer to create graphics to visually tie all communications. Participation rate was 92% which exceeded the 90% goal. Notable results include: When changes are made where I work, communications are managed well at the organizational level – 81% favorable, The organization is open and honest in communications with employees – 77% favorable.
  • COVID-19 / Return-to-Office Planning, Lead communications professional within a multi—functional committee charged with defining and executing the company’s COVID-19 response (policies and procedures) and return-to-office planning both internally and externally. Worked collaboratively to draft and distribute over 30 communications from March 2020 – September 2021. COVID pulse survey results noted that 98% of employees felt the company showed concern toward them. Created an engagement campaign “Norm for Now,” that encouraged employees to share photos of their home workspace, along with sharing helpful tips and takeaways. The intranet page averaged 6,000 views per month.
  • Company Move, Created the timeline and wrote communications to support this high-profile organizational change involving the move 1,200 employees from four locations to two locations within downtown Cincinnati. Developed a creative brand to accompany all communications to build a “positive buzz” among employees. After the move, wrote a recurring employee news article series, Comments from the Cube, to assist with organizational change management.
  • Employee Intranet, Managed a multi-year project to develop, design and debut a new employee SharePoint intranet. The project involved the decommissioning and consolidation of dated intranets. More than 50,000 pages of content were created and organized after extensive user acceptance testing. Project stakeholders included executives, IT, along with various business and shared services groups. Project was completed on time, within scope and under budget. It is now the authoritative source of information for over 6,500 employees averaging over 200,000 homepage visits per month.
  • Significant Divestiture, Helped develop the master communication plan to support the announcement of a $3.5 billion divestiture internally and externally to various constituents including employees, business partners and shareholders. The plan included an inventory of 22 communications. Interacted with parties both within the selling and purchasing company, including counsel, to ensure communications met all compliance requirements and to help with a successful transition for over 600 impacted employees.
