Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/ “Lead” Behavior Technician with 2+ years of ABA therapy experience in clinical and in-home settings, 3+ years working with individuals with disabilities, and 10+ years working with children.

I am very confident in my ability to independently analyze, comprehend, and successfully implement Behavior Intervention Plans. While working for Accel Therapies, I worked one-on-one with 29 different clients; who ranged in age from 2-11. Although each client had a designated BT assigned to their case me included; when BTs called in sick, a need for a sub arose. I would often volunteer to cover these sessions on the weekends; which turned out to be such amazing learning opportunities. I was exposed to many unique situations and gained valuable experience learning how to deal with and overcome challenges, gain extensive insight into dozens of different BIPs, and got to practice running sessions in “in-home” settings.

I am very diligent when it comes to safety, and always have my client’s Safety Plan memorized and am constantly using antecedent strategies to set my client up for success. I have received crisis prevention training and have experience working with clients who engage in behaviors such as aggression, self-injury, property destruction, and elopement; and I feel comfortable in my ability to ensure their safety.

I was promoted in 2023 to the “Lead” position, and was given additional responsibilities such as training new hires, conducting competency assessments, providing Parent Training, providing BTs with extra support, leading weekly meetings, and more.
