  • Review and coordinate department business travel memorandums from Engineering's 8 divisions. Upcoming business trips for conferences, training and inspections, expense accounts are reviewed for appropriate documentation, adherence to policy and prepared to submit for approval to the Chief Engineer and Chief Financial Officer (as needed).
  • Engineering liaison to the LAW department for Public Records Access Requests (formerly FOIs) sent by LAW. Distribute, manage, gather, and submit the required records for said requests within deadline.
  • Oversees preparation for all Engineering article/presentation/awards submission/any public speaking submissions for approval from Media Relations, GOCOR, and Executive Staff.
  • Seeks approval for all Engineering's External Functions requests. Communicates closely with GOCOR for final approvals.
  • Engineering Commuter Benefit Program coordinator for approximately 350 staff. Coordinates with TB&T (the agency coordinator) and resolves issues staff have with this program for entire Engineering Department.
  • Processes payment request and service entries in SAP for OCE. Monitor and maintain accurate records of invoices. Communicates with Accounts Payable on payment issues.
  • Maintains and resolves issues pertaining to office space, technology, and telecommunications for the office.
  • Assists Manager of Business Services with budgetary processes for OCE and all Engineering divisions. Prepares and maintains OCE membership renewals.
  • Backup timekeeper in PeopleSoft and petty cash entries.
