- Product Selection: Identify and select lighting products that meet the project specifications or propose suitable alternatives, including all relevant technical documentation.
- Supplier Engagement: Request quotations from multiple manufacturers and suppliers—primarily European sources—to ensure competitive pricing.
- Price Negotiation: Negotiate favorable pricing with manufacturers, particularly for bulk quantities, both during the tendering phase and after receipt of the Letter of Purchase Order (LPO).
- Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed costing sheets incorporating product costs, freight charges, customs duties, and profit margins to determine final selling prices.
- Proposal Preparation: Develop comprehensive commercial proposals, including full technical submittals—such as product datasheets, compliance statements, certificates, comparison tables, and Dialux lighting calculations.
- Value Engineering: Offer cost-effective alternatives through value engineering, aligning with the client's budgetary constraints without compromising quality or performance.
- Team Support: Provide guidance and assistance to team members to achieve departmental targets and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Client Coordination: Conduct site visits and attend meetings with consultants for product demonstrations and sample approvals.
