I oversaw and managed all aspects of the entire development lifecycle, successfully implementing key legal strategies to achieve higher density with greater affordability. Oversaw a team of 3 project managers and leasing manager, and a rich network of subcontractors that shepherds numerous new development projects from start to finish. My team successfully managed multifamily buildings with a diverse tenant base, at various levels of affordability.
• City of Millbrae, Millbrae, Mayor & Councilmember, 2020-01-01, Present, Lead City of Millbrae to economic development initiatives to become a key regional player on Life Science Development, jobs creation, diversification of tax structure, instigate local density bonus legislation to increase housing and commercial development opportunities. Approved and negotiated multiple TOD developments, and entitled over 1500 units of new housing at all levels of affordability. Worked closely with key stakeholders in affordable housing builders to ensure successful development of permanently affordable veteran housing projects at the Gateway Station.
• City of Millbrae, Millbrae, Planning Commissioner, 2017-01-01, 2020-01-01, Lead Millbrae Planning Commission in approving 2 new TOD developments, shaped the housing element development, and local zoning code amendments to increase density and development opportunities along El Camino Real corridor. Working closely with Community Development staff and members of the community to bring consensus to development proposals.
