Employed as a private contractor to collaborate with fellow engineers to solve crucial challenges facing the City of Gainesville. Dedicated to conquering the potentially unknown issues hindering the potential of the many industries throughout the City, to help achieve maximum efficiency, while keeping social and moral ethics as a top priority.
Collaborated with fellow engineers to determine ethanol generation's cost, profits, and socioeconomic implications via a hydrocarbon, and through sugar. This included determining how much ethanol could be produced with the resources at hand for both procedures and reporting back to the city which option was more effective and morally justifiable due to the Carbon emissions from the procedures.
Worked in a design team to evaluate the production of electricity via the combustion of natural gases and through the combustion of ethanol. Together we considered the respective environmental effects, costs, and amount of power generated to determine which method is more advantageous for the city to pursue and utilize in the future.
Worked in a design team to examine the potential addition of an oxy-combustion chamber to the GRU Kelly Power Plant in Gainesville to determine if the upgrade was a worthy investment. Together we contrasted the current and potential productive capabilities of the power plant and considered potential ethical and social implications before giving a final recommendation.
