Andre Thompson

Worked as a part of the Cloud Developer Enablement team. This team focused on a product called Cloud Flow which is a full stack application which enabled Progressive internal customers to create Azure, AWS, Terraform, and RedHat Openstack Environments. My biggest achievement on this team was being their first intern to push large independent features for the application.

I also worked on the Cloud Container Platform Service team which managed Progressive internal customer's application environments. In this role I helped solve customer's problems by working through RedHat OpenStack's console. I helped manage server clusters in both production and non-production environments.

During this role I worked as a landscaper which specialized in custom flower beds, hardscapes, and mulch and gravel installation. I also operated landscaping equipment and drove trucks which held landscaping supplies. While working here I learned how to be punctual with customers and explain the exact processes which I was doing to their yards so that they would be satisfied with the work being done.

As a team member I learned how to work in customer service and work with their point of service technology to correctly complete food orders. I also helped in the drive thru with bagging food and making drinks in a high speed environment. I learned how to communicate with customers when something was unsatisfactory and make the best out of hard situations.
