In my role as a Flight Nurse at the Bozeman, MT base, I work hand-in-hand with paramedics to assess and treat patients both on scene and during hospital transfers. I follow established protocols and company policies to ensure high quality patient care while keeping safety as a priority. Collaborating closely with the pilot, I help ensure the aircraft operates safely, protecting everyone on board, including patients, crew, and on-scene personnel.

I also contribute to our team’s day-to-day operations, fostering a positive and efficient work environment. I maintain proficiency in advanced nursing skills, such as chest tube insertion, surgical airways, endotracheal intubation, intraosseous insertion, and central line placement. As the senior member of the flight team, I take responsibility for all patient care, ensuring that we provide comprehensive and effective treatment during transport.
