As a PhD researcher in human behavior and development, I have a passion for exploring and understanding the complex and diverse factors that influence human behavior and well-being. I have conducted and published multiple research projects on topics such as stigma, substance use disorder, and women in romantic relationships with incarcerated men, using various methods and tools such as REDCAP, data models, and qualitative functions.
I have also applied my research skills and expertise in mental health to develop and execute programs and interventions that address the needs and challenges of different populations and settings. For example, I worked as a Stigma Assessment Coordinator at Marion County Health Department, where I collaborated with health professionals and first responders to reduce stigma and increase empathy for patients with substance use disorder. I also worked as a Program Developer at YMCA, where I optimized business and management practices for the initial behavioral health program, and as an Executive Coach at Cerebral, where I assisted clients with developing and maintaining their capital plan and personal and financial goals. In addition, I have excellent communication and public speaking skills, which I have demonstrated in presenting my research findings and delivering integrated learning and development tools and programs.
