Andrea Urszinyi

Adaptive and responsible with experience at YMCA Camp Lincoln, excelling in collaborative and team-building environments. Proven problem-solver with strong communication skills, quick to adapt to diverse age groups. I am passionate about continuous learning, and am committed to contributing effectively to both campers and the community. My willingness to be collaborative and have empathy in all interactions has driven me to success. For example, being an 11-Time National Karate Champion in the Krane Karate Circuit and holding a 4.4 GPA in school has taught me the importance of time management and what it takes to build a team. Even when one of my teammates loses their match, I still stand behind them, cheering them on. I plan to bring the same key value of empathy to camp this year, sharing my skills with campers, staff, and overall the Camp Lincoln community. This year, I have been awarded the French Global Seal of Biliteracy, demonstrating my proficiency in both English and French. Additionally, I am fluent in Romanian, making me trilingual. Being a High Honor Roll student has shown me the importance of discipline and resilience, which are values I will bring to camp this summer.
