Eagle Scout

I officially earned my Eagle Scout in October 8, 2024.


The process to become an Eagle Scout is long and difficult. Necessary requirements to obtain the title that less than 2% of all boy scouts achieve is as follows:


  • Complete a service project that benefits one or more entities separate from BSA, this includes companies, non-profits, or the local city/community.
  • Obtain at least 21 merit badges, 14 eagle required, and 7 standard.
  • Complete all requirements listed up to Life Scout.
  • be active in troop for at least 6 months as a life scout, 4 of those months must be done while in a leadership position within the troop.
