HI! My name is Andres Almonte, though you can call me Joyboy, nice to meet you :D. I graduated as a Film Major from Vassar College Class of 2024 and I'm looking to work on whatever cool, fun, creative, or personal project comes my way. I spent my entire college career developing my skills for the various aspects of filmmaking from acting to directing to editing to writing and so on. I took classes taught by emmy nominated producers and directors sharing their wisdom with me. Since graduating college, I've attended the 2024 Venice Film Festival and 2025 Cannes Film festival through the American Pavilion Student Program. I've also worked on a feature film that premiered this summer in Modesto, California. And most recently I've began working as a freelancer on various projects. I'm open to any new opportunities that come my way :D.
