I work as a regular associate in retail at FYE. I normally greet and ring up customers at the register. Other than that I like to organize the store, and restock products on the shelves. We usually put away products whenever we do shipment or if anything needs to be restock we'll get it from the back area. I also take out the trash when things get full and I vacuum the store after closing time.

I used to work at Best Buy for a few weeks back in Nov-Dec in late (2020). It was just a seasonal job, but it was an interesting experience. I had different tasks to do over there such as restocking products, getting products for warehouse employees to check in. I sometimes would work in the back warehouse where I would check in orders and scan the codes to make sure customer orders were in and I would package the orders nicely for the FedEx or UPS trucks. Reason for leaving was because of the high number of employees they were hiring for seasonal and they stopped sending me schedules. It was still a good working experience though.

At Smart & Final I would organize the aisles by putting away food items and drinks, cleaning up the shelves, and help out my co-workers with other tasks such as helping customers with putting their bags of food in the cart. I didn't do anything on the registers, but whenever customers asked me for help I would my best help them and if I didn't know how I would ask my coworkers or manager. It was a great seasonal job and on my last day every employee gave me a positive farewell and they said I could come back anytime.

Hobby Lobby was the first ever job I worked at and it was a seasonal job in the Summer time. I don't remember too much from working here, but I do remember the job being quite easy to do. All I basically did was restock items on the shelves and to make sure it was well organized. I didn't get a chance to greet customers at this job or ring them up at the registers, but I did have a good team of nice employees. And the manager was very helpful too.
