Andrew Atkison

Apprentice Lineman with training and experience installing electrical lines, transformers, switches and circuit breakers for municipal utility companies. Exceptional safety record and teamwork history. Knowledge of outage restoration, disaster response and service relocation.

In high school, I participated in Ag class where I learned building and mechanical skills. Additionally, I did the VOTEC welding program, which allowed me to be certified in stick welding. I have always known I was going to do something with my hands, so once I got to lineman school, I realized I had found my calling. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of lineman school from the climbing to learning to drive the bucket truck. I decided to go to college in case my body gets to a point where I cannot work in the field, but right now there is nothing I would rather do.
