- Understand automotive computer systems comprised of 5 to 15 separate computer modules using multiple communication lines such as J1939 high speed as well as the J1708 and J1587
- Worked with Auxiliary Power Units on semi trucks including Thermo Kings Tripac and Tripac E (battery powered) the Bergstrom Nite and Idle Free which are also battery powered system These consist of a 12 volt bank, battery separator, starting capacitors, 48 volt compressor, invertors, voltage converters and solar panels
- In my personal hobbies reaching back to grade school, I build audio circuits such as tube amplifiers and guitar effects This has given me a knowledge of how transformers work, primary and secondary voltages, rectifiers, capacitors as well as a slew of specialized components such as jfets, optocouplers, inductors
