Summary

I have more than 10 years experience in IT from MSP to data center smart hand support. I also have experience in facility environmental and power support as I have been the only data center employee at the Columbia satellite location for the past few years. The company is consolidating data centers in Kansas City and Oklahoma City so the Columbia location has been in the process of moving over the past several months and is almost finished. I am staying in the mid-Missouri area and am looking for a new opportunity with a good company. Thank you for your consideration.

  • Originally when I was hired I was part of the network and compute/cloud teams to assist in both departments at the Columbia data center location. When the network and compute people left I additionally took on the Columbia DC facilities responsibilities including 24/7/365 on call by myself, managing vendors/carriers/customers onsite, installing/cabling new servers, switches, firewalls, packetshapers, etc.
  • Daily ticket reporting in Connectwise to meet SLAs. I am also in charge of triaging/assigning all incoming tickets that come into our main DC board as well as RMM/Backup Alerts boards.
  • Involved in collecting evidence, conducting virtual walkthroughs, SOP reviews, and meetings with our SOC2 auditors yearly.
  • Work with VMWare and Citrix virtual environments for customers and our internal groups (MSP, MIS).
  • Work with our Veeam environment to assist the backup team in daily checks using Automate/Screenconnect to connect to customer locations.
  • Physical checks of all DC servers, AC units, and remote monitoring of our temperature/humidity NetBotz sensors, UPS readings, Logicmonitor alerts.
  • AD administration onboarding/offboarding new employees.
