A little bit about me, I have grown up my whole life revolving around dirt bikes. I was a free rider/filmer, that loved to go out and find the coolest hill to jump and take videos with friends. If you’d like to see any of my work, search “CR85 Rippin’ and Wheelies ft. Andrew Haselhuhn” on YouTube. I have always had a passion for riding and film making and because of this passion, is what lead me down the road to my career as of present.
I worked on my own dirt bikes and started tinkering in my garage as of the age of 8 years old. I was hired in high school by Rui Azevedo at R Moto Perfected as a technician and thanks to him, who I will say is one of the most exceptional technicians I have ever seen, has established my foundation on shop etiquette and what it means to work on things in the most precise and “perfected” way. As you would see from my personality, I am an extreme perfectionist and have an eye for detail which is a benefit and curse at the same time! Sometimes I will take longer than others to make sure it isn’t just good enough but is perfect.
I then went on to work for GreenMark Equipment John Deere as a Turf service technician. I worked on everything from push mowers to larger sub-compact tractors. I worked also as a set up/PDI tech for a stint of time do the fact that I enjoyed giving customers their new machine, ready to go and literally perfect without a blemish or anything not set up right.
I walked into Krupp’s Powersports, just for fun, and after talking with them I was hired the same day. I left GreenMark following that day as I wanted to work on my new found passions of PWC’s and snowmobiles. After being hired by Krupp's I was the only technician handling all 250 jet ski winterizations, shrink wrapping/ storage, and repair work for the BRP line of SXS, watercraft, and snowmobiles. I was the technician that always put on crash/insurance claim rebuilds as my attention to detail on making it like new was a lot of fun for me (and no one else wanted to it).
I, in April of last year, was called by the owner of Villwock’s Outdoor Living and was asked what it would take for me to come work for them. I didn’t want to leave Krupp’s but after I told them what it would take for me to leave, they accepted my wants and needs for me to make a move. After working for them for about a year as their lead technician I have decided to look for another opportunity. My passion for powersports is what makes me excited for whats next. Un fortunately Villwock's is an equipment dealer and not a powersports dealership.
I also do enjoy working with customers and working with the public. I am very passionate about powersports, as my free time is filled with riding PWC’s, snowmobiles, and dirt bikes. I have yet to get a SXS but maybe one day I will! I hope this gives you a good amount of info on my experience and a little idea into my devotion for the powersport industry.
