  • Conducted cardiovascular research at the Frankel Cardiovascular Center Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (FCVC SURF) at Michigan Medicine;
  • Worked in Dr. Jordan Shavit’s Lab and collected valuable data on thrombotic disorders using a zebrafish model
  • Utilized CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing and a genome-wide mutagenesis screen to search for modifier genes of thrombosis; Identified one positive hit for the genetic screen and observed a significant difference in clotting time for one potential modifier gene using laser-mediated venous endothelial injury
