Maintain bar sizes and specs per customer requirements and ASTM standard. Move equipment and mill stands with crane, fork lift and dump truck. Stay organized throughout the day so product changes and adjustments can be made more efficiently and safely. Properly lock out and try out equipment as policy and procedures states. Safety is the #1 objective and I hold that the most important function of every Nucor teammate. Use hand tools, impacts, gear reducers, pry bars, hammers, jack hammers and man lifts.

Repaired and recertified all valve on tank cars. Used the crane to lift the heads and drop them into cars. Used fork lift, company truck, crane and pallet jacks on a daily basis.

End welder, welder, changeover and tester are all the jobs I was qualified to do. Maintained mill based off needs and specs. Performed destructive testing and non destructive testing to check strength of weld. Used crane, hand tools, air tools and mobile equipment.
