- Special Gage: Delivering custom metrology solutions across industries, including food packaging and aerospace.

- Develop and implement SOPs, KPIs, and strategic marketing plans.

- Direct engineering, machining, and inspection processes.

- Conduct on-site client consultations to enhance metrology methods and reduce waste.

- Authorize capital expenditures and provide monthly financial forecasts.

- Oversee projects ranging from $20K to $350K+.

• As the assistant manager I had all the same responsibilities as I did as the senior engineer with these additions
• Review all pricing and quotes.
• Hired designers, engineers, and machinists.
• Worked with Foreman to generate new Capex requests and develop SOP for manufacturing area.
• Responsible for weekly sales updates and forecasts.
• Designers, engineers, machinists, and inspectors reported to me.

• As the Senior Engineer in the special gage division
• I was responsible for 3 other application engineers
• As well as;
• Conduct all training of new engineers, review all quotes being sent to customers.
• Conduct all final design reviews before designs were sent to customer for approval.
• I would visit our high valued customers and generate good report with new customers.

• My roll was that of a sales application engineer for the special gage division of Starrett.
• Review customer applications.
• Concept, and quote custom solutions for customer applications
• Oversee and manage multiple customer orders from the concept stage, through manufacturing and final inspection.
• Worked with customers in all industries primarily aerospace and military.

• Set up and ran multiple CNC OD and ID grinders
• Responsible for training and managing my operators
• Trouble shoot any issues.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineers on SOP generation and SPC data collection.

• In this position I was responsible for refurbishing the tooling and fixtures for the grindfloor.
• Setup and Ran Manual Mills, Lathes and surface grinders.
• Worked in tool crib issuing and managing tooling.
• Trouble shot issues with CMM and other metrology equipment.
