Work History

Engineering Intern

TTM TECHNOLOGIES INC
07.2024 - 07.2024

As an engineering Intern I was met with the challenge of working with people from different schools and met with the challenge of competing with other teams. Throughout my journey I had to make relationships with those who I was grouped with and get to know everyone there. The goal was to design a robot to complete a set of challenges autonomously and with a controller, as well as trying to maximize the payload that the robot could hold. Although I was not able to code the robot since I didn't know the language, I tried to understand the syntax for c# and tried to provide my greatest input. Through great perseverance, teamwork, and a shared commitment, our group was able to create a high performing robot that exceeded even our expectations, especially on the payload test where the arm had to pick up a certain weight with a good ratio to the weight of the robot. This experience had facilitated my technical and mechanical knowledge, allowed me to enhance my communication skills, and think critically under pressure. I couldn't ask for a better experience as it enforced my love for science and engineering.

Skills

  • I have Coding skills in several languages such as Python, Java, Lua, and a little bit of C#
  • Sketches, specifications, and drawings
  • System troubleshooting
  • Strong work ethic-I often try to reach for large goals
  • Outstanding math skills
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Multitasking
  • CAD
  • Researching
  • Engineering Skills- When I was in 8th grade I had created an incredible DIY Electric skateboard I researched how to build one for some time and was fascinated with the electronics and the way everything interacts I made sure to get the best materials I could so I went on to spend all the money from my Confirmation party I was able to get a great battery and decided to use a hub motor as opposed to a belt motor because I saw that it would need more maintenance I made sure that everything was compatible and after everything arrived I started creating it I attached the esc and the battery and put it inside an enclosure making sure to add padding to keep it safe from harsh vibrations and water damage After I connected it with the wheels and was ready to ride after attaching the enclosure to the board I was amazed how great it worked and the great velocity the board was able to achieve It is one of my most favorite feat's,
