Work History

Undergraduate Research Assistant

University Of Michigan Chemical Engineering
04.2023 - Current
  • Work full time over the summers and part time during the school year.
  • Research focus: Improvement of the transport and efficacy of antibody-drug conjugates in solid tumors
  • Aid lab members with their projects and have projects of my own
  • Conduct in vitro assays, data analysis, and present findings to PI
  • Regularly attend lab meetings at Thurber Lab, BSL-2
  • Make/modify antibodies, ADCs, and ISACs to modulate the PK and PD effects of these drugs to improve their transport and efficacy in solid tumors. Essentially, my preclinical research is focused on strategies to improve current therapies and make them more successful in the future; furthermore, this includes FDA approved and non-approved chemotherapeutic agents.

Undergraduate Research Assistant

University Of Michigan Biomedical Engineering
01.2023 - 03.2023
  • Worked part time and volunteered at the Cardiac Biomechanics lab.
  • Learned about the structure of the heart, how to read dynamic CT scans, how to run complex neural networks, and how to do 3D modeling of healthy hearts and hearts with left ventricular impairments.
  • Recorded data and maintained source documentation following good documentation practices. Aided in project completion on complex heart modelling for patients with LVADs.
