Medical Readiness Program Manager

  • Lead integration of EM and MC-CBRN support down to installation level, across AFGSC, and with joint, federal, and civilian first responders and first receivers.
  • Analyze CCMD strategy related to EM and MC-CBRN and translate into overall AFGSC medical capability requirements.
  • Develop and sustain MC-CBRN capabilities through application of in-depth knowledge and understanding of CBRN agent characteristics, threats, evaluation of fielded CBRN assets, and AF operational concepts.
  • Responsible for all requirements related to the AF Home Station Medical Response (HSMR) for MC-CBRN development, sustainment, and work to resolve problems/issues that affect CCDRs, Air Component Commanders, MAJCOMs, installation EM and MC-CBRN passive defense capabilities.
  • Develop/review plans and TTPs and provide technical expertise for medical first responder/first receiver, readiness, consequence management, EM, and CBRN issues in support of home station medical CBRN response, consequence management, and OCO missions.
  • Serves as program manager for MC-CBRN programs resolving problems/issues which impact AFGSC and eight subordinate installations and supported units.

  • Facilitated the development of the command's first global patient movement posture plan aligning global patient movement with the command's strategic priorities.
  • Efforts resolved a capability discrepancy between the DoD and DoS AE capabilities, establishing the framework for Non-Combatant Evacuation Operations and Repatriation Strategic Guidance.
  • Strategic coordinator to the DCOM, ensured activities with senior U.S. and foreign government and private industry officials aligned with DoD objectives.
  • Coordinated both domestic and international key leadership engagements to help shape command strategy.
