I am currently a DA Investigator with the Sonoma County DA's Office. I am assigned to the Environmental Consumer Law Division. I am currently assigned workers compensation fraud investigations as my primary assignment, and I work auto fraud as a secondary assignment. I review investigations submitted to our office by special investigations units hired by insurance companies when they suspect fraud. Once these case are submitted I conduct further investigation if needed and submit to the Deputy DA for complaint. In addition to my investigation assignment I also conduct "Outreach" regarding educating employees/employers about workers compensation fraud.

I answer all calls for service involving domestic violence, child abuse, assaults, neighborhood disturbances, other crimes against persons, as well as property crimes. I am a resource to my patrol peers in regards to domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual assault cases based on my prior experience in the Special Victims Unit for the Vacaville Police Department. I proactively patrol my sector as well as other areas of the city and conduct traffic stops and stops of persons involved in suspicious activity. I am a team player and support those I work with on my shift as well as others on other shifts.
Assisted the Vacaville Police Dept. Traffic Unit in investigating traffic collisions, including a fatal collision as the primary investigator. I assisted with traffic enforcement in regards to moving citations as well as parking citations. I also assisted with the road closures and facilitation of traffic control during CHP Officer Griess' funeral detail. My assistance was needed while current traffic officers trained potential future traffic officers for the unit. My assistance was requested based on my training and experience with accident reconstruction as well as having prior traffic experience with the Vacaville Police Dept. Traffic Unit.
