Andrew Weber

I spent the summer of 2023 working and learning at the Chads Ford Office in the dams department. I worked on many projects including fixing CAD worksheets when the branch adopted a new file management software. I also collected and interpreted data for a R&D project where lidar is being used to test soil density. Worked with decades of piezometer data to create animated visualizations in excel.

Annual trip to impoverished counties in North Carolina and West Virginia with a team of volunteers to participate in onsite house builds including foundation work, framing, decking, roofing and siding. Required daily preparation and planning of teamwork delegation according to skill and time constraints.

Annual volunteer program with high school hockey team collecting teddy bears for distribution to young patients at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. Entailed spending a day at the hospital handing out the stuffed animals and visiting with patients.

Engaged with customers and promoted a helpful and upbeat environment in the store. Maintained calm demeanor and professionally managed issues in busy, high-stress situations.
