  • Senior EHS Analyst Responsibilities
  • Non-Production LPA (layer 2) EHS department safety audits, incident investigations including 8D and Lessons Learned, uploading incidents into MESH Prism, organizing and scheduling annual plant wide hearing tests and medical/fit testing events including follow up tests and questionnaires, I conduct multiple safety training classes for our New Employee Orientations, I am a Champion and Co-Champion of several MESH elements, monthly/quarterly inspections (LOTO proficiency, harness & lanyard, Haz-Waste manifests, equipment calibrations, etc.), manage prescription safety glasses program, interim Safety Council leader, etc.

Accomplishments

With my current role in the EHS department, I was able to bring a caring a friendly perspective that helped to change the thinking around safety culture throughout the plant to one that values the importance of safety. In one year's, time the site went from an average of thirteen recordable injuries a year down to one. People now feel confident that the EHS team has their best interests in mind as well as what is good for the company. This is the first time in my over-a-decades time with the company that I have seen this happen.
