  • Responsible for the overall development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the Center of Excellence in Health and Wellness, that provides a large variety of services and amenities to residents.
  • Responsible for the oversight and management of Broadmead's communications to residents, including in-house TV channels, a resident engagement website, emergency communications, newsletters, calendars, digital signage, etc.
  • Provide leadership and management of Broadmead's Maryland Community for Life program, which provides a non-medical package of services to non-residents that is designed to help them live successfully in their homes as long as possible. This program was developed in partnership with the Maryland Department of Aging.
  • Serve on the care management and transitions team at Broadmead, which plans for and helps ensure the quality of life of residents as their needs change.
  • Lead the efforts to provide opportunities and services to residents that enhance the quality of life through the seven facets of the Center of Excellence, which enhance the physical, social, intellectual, spiritual, and altruistic wellness of residents.
  • Lead all Wellness and Community for Life staff, including Wellness Coordinators, Service Navigators, Volunteer Coordinator, Spiritual Coordinator, Salon and Spa professionals, Aquatics staff, administrative professionals, and several independent contractors that provide care and services to residents.
  • Responsible for the business plan development and overall marketing approach for non-resident memberships to Broadmead's Center of Excellence in Health and Wellness, and Broadmead's Community for Life program.

  • Helped create and launch the 25,000 sq ft Health Club and Spa at Williamsburg Landing from the construction to implementation and evaluation phases.

  • Led all strategic, budgetary, supervisory efforts, plus all day-to-day operations and programming of the Health Club & Spa, and Chaplain Services.

  • Worked closely with clinical staff to provide care to all residents, especially as they transitioned to different levels of care.
  • Chaplain Services responsibilities include oversight of staff chaplains, and their services included: counseling, bible studies, Vesper services, memorial services, support groups, etc.
  • Direct all wellness programming for assisted living, nursing care and dementia care, plus transition programming from rehabilitation services to Wellness services.
  • Responsible for the internal and external Health Club & Spa marketing and promotion.
  • Responsible for the direction, facilitation and oversight of the corporate wellness program.
